Our First Aid and CPR classes are designed to give you the confidence to respond in an emergency situation with skills that can save a life. Our preparedness programs are available for any age and can be tailored to the needs of specific groups and individuals. Whether you work with children, want training for employees, are a professional rescuer, or simply want to know how to help someone in an emergency situation, Star Cooper, Inc. has a program for you. We welcome people from diverse backgrounds.

We are an authorized provider for The American Red Cross. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate from The Atlanta Chapter of the American Red Cross.

First Aid/CPR Adult, Child, and Infant $85

One of our most popular courses that is great for community needs. This course combines lectures, demonstrations and video with hands-on training and practice. Participants in this course learn to recognize and respond to emergencies including shock, cardiac and breathing emergencies for adults, children, and infants, heat and cold emergencies, sudden illnesses and poisonings. Additionally, participants will learn first aid for everything from cuts and scrapes to muscle, bone and joint injuries.

Whether you're a professional childcare provider, teacher or parent, you invest daily in a child's future. Trust Star Cooper, Inc. to help you make sure they reach their future safely. Our infant and child CPR training is based on the latest scientific findings. Your representative will work with you to meet your specific training needs. Designed for those who care for children, either full time or occasionally, this course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children ages 12 and younger.

Babysitter’s Training
You'll learn how to -
- Supervise children and infants
- Perform basic child-care skills such as diapering, feeding and dressing
- Choose safe, age appropriate games and toys
- Handle bedtime and discipline issues
- Identify safety hazards and prevent injuries
- Care for common injuries and emergencies such as choking, burns, cuts and bee stings
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Find and interview for babysitting jobs
Course Cost: $80
Classes are conducted the first and third Saturday of every month from 9am to 4pm. Lunch is included. Participants may also bring snacks or a bag lunch. Children will not be allowed to leave the facility until the person authorized to pick up arrives. Class ending times may change based on class participation and interaction. Therefore, parents must provide a phone number they can be reached. Children that are left beyond the class ending time will be accessed a late pickup charge of $10 every 10 minutes. The Babysitter Training Course is being offered by Star Cooper, Inc. as an Authorized Provider for the American Red Cross. Upon successful course completion, participants will receive a certificate from the American Red Cross. In addition, you will be entered into our database of trained babysitter's. As clients call for a sitter, we will find the perfect match within our system based on location and their needs. We refer potential customers to you and it's that simple. You have properly prepared yourself by taking our course and are now ready.
